Your Privacy

At Typester, we believe our online visitors have a right to know our practices regarding the information we may collect when you visit our Web sites and what type of information is collected. The guidelines contained herein apply only to the Typester Web site ("Typester"). Other participating web sites and CKMgroup sites which are linked to/from these sites may have different policies which apply to their collection of data; therefore, please review the privacy policy notices on those sites for details.

While Typester does not generally require that you provide us with personally identifiable information in order to visit and use the Typester sites, please note that in order to participate in some activities, such as to register with Typester in order to ---, it will be necessary for you to provide this information. Collection of Information: Cookies; Personal Information

When you visit Typester's sites or advertisements appearing thereon, or use one or more of Typester Web site services, we may use XML technology or an industry-wide technology called persistent "cookies" which stores certain information on your computer and which will allow us to customize your experience to better match your interests and preferences, or to simply facilitate your signing in to use the services. Typester will not share the personal information you provide on the Typester Web sites with any other parties, except (a) with other affiliated CKMgroup companies (i.e., (i) CKMgroup, SiteHammer, PagesForLess) who may want to contact you about products, services or other offerings that may be of interest to you; (b) with your consent (see paragraph below); (c) as may be required by law or court order; (d) to persons or companies with whom Typester engages to carry out or provide support for the operations of the site or our business; or (e) under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety or property of our users, the public or ourselves.

Additionally and with your consent, Typester may share your personal information with specific third parties outside of the CKMgroup of companies who may want to contact you about products, services or other offerings that may be of interest to you. Your personal information will be treated by those third party companies in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Typester will seek to obtain your consent at the place where the information is collected either by an "opt-out" or "opt-in" method, or by other means. If you consent to receiving communications from any of these third parties, you will need to communicate with them directly if you later decide that you no longer wish to receive their communications or if you wish to amend or change any data you supply to such companies.

Changes, amendments, and/or deletions to your personal information must be given directly (1) to Typester; (2) to each CKMgroup affiliate with which you correspond, and (3) with any third party company for whom you have given us consent to share your personal information, as these changes, amendments and/or deletions will not be exchanged among Typester and other CKMgroup affiliates or third parties.

By using the Typester site(s), you will be deemed to have consented to the disclosure to, and use by, a subsequent owner or operator of a Typester website or service, of any information about you contained in the applicable Typester database, if Typester or one of its companies assigns its rights and obligations regarding any of your information at the time of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of Typester's or such Typester company's assets related to the applicable site or service to a subsequent owner or operator. In the event of such a merger, acquisition, or sale, your continued use of the site or service signifies your agreement to be bound by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the site's or service's subsequent owner or operator.

Security; Access

Typester takes great care in maintaining the security of your personal information, and preventing unauthorized access to it, through the use of appropriate technology and internal procedures. For example, when using your MasterCard or Visa credit card on Typester, your credit card data is protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption and a dedicated line is used to communicate that information with our MasterCard and Visa credit card processor. Although Typester takes great care in maintaining the security of your personal information, Typester does not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

In addition, Typester will endeavor to keep the information we collect from you upon registration as current as possible.

Notice To/Regarding Children Under the Age of 13

Notice: Typester is open only to individuals who are 13 years of age and older. If you are under 13 years of age, any information you submit will not be retained by Typester.

Typester believes that children using the Internet require special protection, and we urge parents or guardians to explain Internet safety to their children. Parents are urged to spend time online with their children to become familiar with the types of content available on the Typester sites and the Internet in general. Control tools are available from online services and software manufacturers to help create a safer environment for children.

Use and Disclosure of Anonymous Aggregated Information

Typester may also collect, aggregate and maintain anonymous information about the visitors to our web sites, such as visitors' hobbies, interests, purchasing habits, music preferences, and the like. This data can then be used to tailor Typester's Web site content and advertising to deliver a better experience for our visitors. Typester may further share such aggregate information about our visitors with advertisers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties, for example, to inform them about the percentage of male/female visitors or percentage of members within a particular age range.
